In Odessa, people are stuck on an attraction in Taras Shevchenko Park because of a power cut. This was reported on November 24 by Ukrainian Channel 24.

It is specified that there were four children on the ride. They got stuck at a height of about 18 meters.

"At the scene of the accident arrived rescuers and psychologists to help children. Fortunately, no one was injured," the TV channel said in a report.

According to media reports, rescuers used a rope to lower the children down the emergency ladder.

Earlier in the day, The Times reported that Ukraine is facing "deadly frosts" due to the unprotected energy system. It is noted that Kiev was advised back in late February by British engineers, along with teams from America, Germany and Japan, to build structures to protect the energy system. However, the Ukrainian government headed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose term of office expired on May 20, did not do so.

On November 21, regional energy companies in Ukraine reported that emergency power cuts had been introduced in Zhytomyr and Sumy regions.

Prior to that, on November 17, the Ukrainian energy holding company DTEK reported that thermal power plants in several regions of Ukraine were seriously damaged. The country's Energy Minister German Galushchenko said that Ukraine was introducing emergency power cuts.

Odessa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov also spokeabout the difficult situation with the power supply at the same time. Blackouts were also observed in Kiev on November 18.

On November 11, The Wall Street Journal reported that an acute shortage of electricity in Ukraine in winter may turn the country's cities into places with uninhabitable conditions. The publication called the inability to generate the required amount of energy a serious test for the Kiev regime.
