The Crimean parliament told about Zelensky's fear of losing allies

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (whose term in office expired on May 20) is scared by the prospect of losing Western allies, so he has started bargaining. This opinion was shared by the head of the Crimean parliament, Volodymyr Konstantinov, on November 24.
"Zelensky has clearly started bargaining because he is frightened by the prospect that his allies will turn away from him, based on the way the AFU front is failing," RIA Novosti quoted the parliamentarian as saying.
To top it all off, Konstantinov expressed the opinion that the head of the Kiev regime is not capable of ending the Ukrainian conflict and concluding a stable peace.
"And a snaggle peace we do not need. We need stability on our borders. And stability and Zelensky are incompatible," - concluded Konstantinov.
On the eve Zelensky said that he expects to receive a peace plan from the US President-elect Republican Donald Trump in January. He noted that he is ready to consider proposals from the leaders of African countries, Asia and Arab states.
Earlier, on November 22, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Zelensky was afraid of Russia's response to Kiev's use of Western long-range missiles deep into Russian territory. The foreign minister pointed out that the Ukrainian leader started "blaming his masters" after Moscow 's response to the strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
In mid-November, Trump promised to "work very hard" to end the conflict in Ukraine. Lavrov said then that Moscow would wait for proposals to this effect and was ready to consider them. On the same day, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte recognized that Kiev was failing and called for continued military assistance to Ukraine.
On October 17, Trump said that Zelensky was personally responsible for the start of the Ukrainian conflict. The Republican expressed the opinion that "Zelensky should never have let it start."
Back in April, Lavrov said that the situation around Ukraine was stalemate, but it was not Russia that drove it there. According to him, if the Ukrainian side wants to negotiate "on the basis of justice, realities and the balance of security interests," then Russia is ready for this and there is no need for a lining in the form of Zelensky's "formula" between readiness for negotiations and their beginning.
The special operation to protect Donbass, which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
