The Oktyabrsky district court in the city of Ivanovo has sent the director of the Intertekhnika company, Alexei Morokhov, to a pre-trial detention center as part of the investigation into the criminal case of embezzlement in the supply of defective parts to the Kalashnikov concern. This was reported on November 24 by TASS with reference to the case materials.

It is specified that Morokhov is accused of causing damage to the concern in the amount of over 32 million rubles. He chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention until January 12, 2025. The defendant's defense has already filed an appeal against the arrest order to the higher instance.

The basis for Morokhov's accusation of fraud was the testimony of witnesses questioned during the audit. They pointed to him "as the person who committed the crime." Morozov was detained on November 13. A criminal case of fraud on the fact of embezzlement on a large scale from the Kalashnikov concern in Ivanovo Region was filed on November 21. Unidentified persons delivered defective parts to the concern between October 11, 2023 and November 13, 2024.
