Air defense forces shot down Ukrainian drone over the Bryansk region


Russian air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the Bryansk region, as reported by the head of the region Alexander Bogomaz on November 24.
"Over the territory of the Bryansk region, the air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry detected and destroyed an aircraft-type UAV. There are no casualties or damage," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Operational and emergency services are working on the spot, the governor specified.
On the morning of the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense forces overnight destroyed and intercepted 34 Ukrainian drones over the territory of Russia. Thus, 27 UAVs were destroyed over the territory of Kursk region, four UAVs were intercepted over the territory of Lipetsk region, two UAVs were shot down over the territory of Belgorod region and one over the territory of Orel region. All attacks were carried out using airplane-type drones.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
