Figure skater Gorbacheva won the Russian Grand Prix stage in St. Petersburg


Seventeen-year-old figure skater Alina Gorbacheva won the fifth stage of the Russian Grand Prix of Figure Skating, which is taking place in St. Petersburg from November 22 to 25.
According to Sport-Express, Gorbacheva scored 234.58 points on the sum of two programs (71.32 points for the short program and 163.26 points for the free skate). Second place went to Veronika Yametova with 213.39 (71.16 and 142.23). Sofya Vazhnova was third with 208.49 (67.93 and 140.56).
Alina Gorbacheva won a stage of the Russian Grand Prix Cup for the first time in her career.
Last season, the skater took seventh place at the Russian Championships and was fourth in the Grand Prix Final. This season she showed the second result at the Grand Prix stage in Krasnoyarsk.
The previous Grand Prix of Figure Skating, which took place in Moscow on November 13-17, ended with the following results among women: first place - Adelia Petrosyan (251.57), second place - Daria Sadkova (224.93) and third place - Ksenia Gushchina (212.79).
The Grand Prix series finals will be held from February 13 to 16, 2025 in Krasnoyarsk.
