Putin called his statement on the Oreshnik tests clear and understandable enough

Russian President Vladimir Putin called his video message about the test of the Oreshnik ballistic missile clear and understandable. Images with the head of state on November 24 were published in his Telegram channel by journalist Pavel Zarubin.
In the video, Putin finished saying the text of the video message and stood up from his seat.
"I think it's clear and understandable enough," the president said when the recording of the televised statement was turned off.
Putin said on Nov. 21 that Ukraine had used Western long-range weapons against the Russian state, causing the regional conflict to take on elements of a global conflict. He also said that one of Russia's newest medium-range missile systems, the Oreshnik ballistic missile, had been tested under combat conditions.
The Oreshnik hit the Yuzhmash plant in Dnipropetrovsk. Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), said that the use of such a missile was a fair response to Kiev's aggression against peaceful Russian cities. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whose powers expired on May 20, demanded that the world respond to the strike on the military plant.
Later, on November 24, Serbian filmmaker Emir Kusturica called the use of "Oreshnik" spectacular and large-scale, emphasizing that it was a response to Ukraine's attack.
The special operation to defend Donbass, which began on February 24, 2022, is ongoing. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
