- In Kryvyi Rih they said about the lack of heating due to the mobilization of utility workers

There is no one to turn on heating in the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih due to the mobilization of qualified specialists of public utilities to the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF). This was reported on November 24 by the company "Krivoy Rog heating plant".
"Due to mobilization activities the company lacks qualified personnel, staff hunger felt and contractors involved in the repair campaign," - stated in the message on the website of the company.
In addition, another reason for this situation is the arrest of accounts of Krivoy Rog CHPP in March 2024 due to multi-million dollar debts of the enterprise.
The company admitted that the current situation is an emergency, but promised to supply heat to the residents of the city until December 8.
Earlier, on November 22, the Ministry of Community and Territory Development of Ukraine reported about the critical situation with heating in Kryvyi Rih. Then it was specified that there is no heating in 934 houses, 11 health care institutions, 43 educational institutions, as well as in the territorial center of social protection. It was also added that about 110 thousand residents remained without heat.
Before that, on November 17, it was reported that in several regions of Ukraine were seriously damaged thermal power plants (TPP). On the same day, the mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov, said that at the moment the situation with electricity supply in the city is difficult. According to him, emergency blackouts are now in effect.
On November 10, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that the Ukrainian government decided to dismantle the Kurakhov thermal power plant (TPP) for spare parts due to a shortage of electricity. The CEO of the Ukrainian energy company DTEK, Maxim Tkachenko, said that this option was the main source of equipment, noting that there was no other choice.
On 4 November, Ukrainian geopolitical analyst and veteran of the country's Armed Forces Viktor Kovalenko admitted that the upcoming winter will be the most difficult for Ukraine since February 2022, and ghost towns may appear amid electricity problems.
