Kremlin says Biden's team plans to thwart Trump in Ukraine talks

The administration of US President Joe Biden is trying to escalate the situation in Ukraine to such an extent that peace terms are doomed to fiasco. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin on 24 November. The video is published in the correspondent's Telegram channel.
Thus, the Biden administration is trying to aggravate the situation in Ukraine to thwart the attempts of the elected American leader Donald Trump to resolve the conflict.
"Trump during the election campaign said that he intends to somehow ensure peace and bring everyone to peace. And so what they are trying to do is to escalate the situation to such an extent that these peace terms are already doomed to fiasco," Peskov said.
He also drew attention to the reasons for the current situation in the world. The Kremlin spokesman expressed the opinion that it happened because of the domestic political thirst for revenge in Washington and the "denudedness of those who make decisions." Peskov said that Western countries ignored Russian President Vladimir Putin 's warning about the consequences of strikes deep inside Russia. In this regard, the Russian side has started to take more decisive steps.
Earlier, on November 21, Putin said that Ukraine had used Western long-range weapons against the Russian state, causing the regional conflict to acquire elements of a global one. He also said that one of Russia's newest medium-range missile systems, the Oreshnik ballistic missile, had been tested under combat conditions.
The strike was carried out at the Yuzhmash plant in Dnipropetrovsk. Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), called the launch a fair response to Kiev's aggression against peaceful Russian cities.
Military expert Will Shriver said on November 23 that a smell of "confused horror" pervades Western political and military circles after the use of "Oreshnik."
The special operation to protect Donbass, which began on February 24, 2022, is ongoing. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
