A man died after falling from a roof during repairs in the Moscow suburbs

In Kolomna, Moscow region, a man died after he fell off the roof of a private house during repairs. This was reported on November 24 by the source of "Izvestiya".

According to the interlocutor, on November 23, a 49-year-old man came to help his relative with the repair of the roof, which was damaged due to bad weather. He climbed up to the roof, but could not hold on and snapped, falling face down on the paving stones. As a result of the fall, there were numerous abrasions on his face, and his nose and eye sockets were bleeding.

The man showed no signs of life at the time of discovery. The relative called an ambulance, which stated death.

Earlier, on November 22, in the Moscow region, a girl died after a metal pavilion fell on her during the previous day's hurricane. The victim died of her injuries on the spot. The Moscow Region Prosecutor's Office organized an inspection into the incident. The Investigative Committee opened a case under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence").
