Servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces modernize FPV drones in a field workshop. Images of the work were published by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 24.
The ministry reports that the field workshop was equipped by servicemen of the Volgograd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the "North" group of troops in the area of a special military operation. With the help of 3D-printer soldiers in the shortest possible time are able to create the necessary parts for the work of unmanned aerial vehicles and FPV-drones.
Specialists are finalizing the equipment to defeat the strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and their weapons on the right bank of the Dnieper River. Russian engineers are developing their own modifications after analyzing the trophies of UAVs and drones.
An engineer of the reconnaissance unit with the call sign Director shared that he always dreamed of working with drones. As he revealed, his partner is an electronic warfare operator.
"I put something together, he immediately with his REB either jams it or I can overcome its barrier. When you come up with something, you find a loophole, you find a vulnerability, you tell the guys, and it starts working," he said.
The engineer added that before mobilization he worked as a system administrator for more than 17 years.
Earlier in the day, the Orlan-10 multifunctional UAV of the Novorossiysk paratroopers detected an accumulation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' living forces and corrected a strike on it by the Airborne Troops' artillery in the Orekhovsky direction in the Zaporizhzhya region.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the aggravated situation in the region.
