No one was injured in Lipetsk Region during a night attack by four drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which were shot down by air defense means. This was reported by the governor of the region Igor Artamonov on November 24.

"There are no victims or casualties. I thank our military for ensuring the safety of the region's residents," the head of the Lipetsk region wrote in his Telegram channel.

He added that no threats were recorded after the drone attack. Specialists continue to work in places where the wreckage of drones fell.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that air defense means shot down 34 aircraft-type drones of the AFU overnight. Of them, 27 were destroyed over the territory of Kursk region, four - over Lipetsk region, two - over Belgorod region, one - over Orel region.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
