- Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Rudenko noted the West's desire to put pressure on the DPRK

Western countries are trying to put pressure on North Korea and draw South Korea into alliance with Ukraine. This was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko on November 24.
"The Seoul authorities, supported by "like-minded" in NATO, continue to artificially spin the topic of DPRK servicemen in the NWO zone in order to increase forceful pressure on Pyongyang, acting in close partnership with the North Atlantic Alliance," Rudenko told TASS.
He pointed out that such behavior of South Korea corresponds to the desires of the collective West, which wants to involve Seoul in the general pumping of weapons into Kiev and make it an accomplice to the crimes of the Ukrainian leadership.
The deputy minister recalled that the partnership between Russia and the DPRK is within the framework of international law and is not directed against third countries, including South Korea. Rudenko emphasized that this was repeatedly said publicly.
The Russian deputy foreign minister noted that the Ukrainian conflict had nothing to do with the Korean Peninsula, and the idea of Seoul linking its possible arms supplies to Kiev with the cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang would do no good.
Earlier, on November 11, the DPRK ratified a comprehensive strategic partnership treaty with the Russian Federation. Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law on ratification of this document on November 9. The treaty was signed by the Russian leader and DPRK Chairman Kim Jong-un in Pyongyang in June. The agreement provides for mutual assistance between the two states in case of aggression against one of them.
On November 1, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov pointed out that the agreement signed by Moscow and Pyongyang not only lays the foundation for bilateral relations between Russia and the DPRK, but also plays a stabilizing role in the entire Northeast Asian region.
Before that, on July 10, Bloomberg reported that NATO is showing increased interest in South Korea because of the fact that it has a lot of weapons that the country could provide to Ukraine. Because of this, the leaders of the alliance countries are trying to convince the republic's leadership to start supporting Kiev.
Later, on November 18, political scientist Alexei Yaroshenko stressed in a conversation with Izvestia that the United States is trying to organize an escalation between the DPRK and South Korea. In particular, Washington supplies arms to Seoul and this threatens Pyongyang's sovereignty.
