In the Irkutsk region, a suspect in the murder of a paramedic has been arrested for two months

A man suspected in the murder of an ambulance paramedic was arrested for two months. This was reported on November 24 in the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the IC of Russia in the Irkutsk region.

"The suspect in committing a particularly serious crime in Kazachinsko-Lensky district is charged. Today at the request of the investigation the court elected him a measure of restraint in the form of detention for two months," - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel of the IC.

The suspect is arrested until January 22, 2025. According to the statement of the Prosecutor's office, he admitted his guilt.

Theattack on the paramedic Alexander Pechelatov was committed on November 21 during transportation to the hospital in an ambulance. It was noted that there was a verbal altercation between an intoxicated patient and an ambulance employee. As a result, the man stabbed the paramedic in the chest and fled the scene. A criminal case was opened under part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder").

The suspect in the murder was detained on November 22. It was specified that in the near future the detainee would be brought in for questioning.
