Air defense forces eliminated 34 Ukrainian UAVs over Russian territory

The air defense forces have destroyed and intercepted 34 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory overnight. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 24.

"27 UAVs were destroyed over the territory of Kursk region, four UAVs were intercepted over the territory of Lipetsk region, two UAVs were shot down over the territory of Belgorod region and one - over the territory of Orel region," the report said in its Telegram-channel.

It is specified that the attacks were carried out with the use of aircraft-type UAVs.

Earlier in the day, the governor of Kursk region Alexei Smirnov reported the destruction of two missiles and 27 UAVs of the AFU.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
