Russian Emergencies Ministry's IL-76 plane delivers more than 33 tons of humanitarian aid to Myanmar residents

Humanitarian aid was delivered to Myanmar on the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported in the Russian Emergencies Ministry on November 24.

"On the instruction of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the instruction of the head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry Alexander Kurenkov to the population of Myanmar, affected by the strongest cyclone, sent 33 tons of humanitarian cargo", - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.

It is specified that the humanitarian aid includes basic necessities, medicines, tents, generators, as well as a mobile power station.

Earlier, on November 7, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a special airplane delivered a batch of humanitarian aid to Lebanon. The ministry added that the cargo included medicines, foodstuffs, including children's food, and basic necessities.
