In connection with the planned reconstruction of London's Buckingham Palace from December this year to 2027 in it will not be held state visits. This was reported by The Sunday Times on November 23.

During this period, all receptions will be held in Windsor Castle. According to the media, the cost of repair work of the palace will be about $462 million.

It is also specified that even after the repairs, King Charles III will remain in the London residence Clarence House.

Earlier, April 3, the British newspaper Metro reported that Buckingham Palace will open to the public a secret room, where only members of the royal family are allowed. It was noted that this is the room where the royal family gathers before going to the balcony.
