In Germany, 16 people were injured in a fire at a temporary accommodation center

In Germany, 16 people were injured in a fire in a temporary accommodation center. This was reported on November 23 by the German portal Tagesschau.
"As a result of the fire, 16 people were injured. While ten of them were taken to nearby hospitals, the remaining six residents received outpatient care on the spot," the publication says.
It is specified that the fire occurred in the town of Schleiden on the territory of the complex Vogelzang, where since 2016 there is a center for temporary accommodation of refugees. A total of 380 migrants lived in the shelter, and 18 people were accommodated in the building that caught fire.
Local police detained a 35-year-old resident of the center on suspicion of arson. Specialists are conducting checks and finding out the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier, on November 15, a fire broke out in a hospital in the north of India, as a result of which ten children died. Doctors and nursing staff evacuated patients by breaking the windows of the smoke-filled ward before firefighters arrived on the scene.
