Three people died due to the consequences of the storm "Burt" in the UK. This was reported on November 23 by the British broadcaster BBC with reference to law enforcement agencies.

According to Hampshire police, a 60-year-old man died after a tree crashed into his car on the highway near Winchester. Another victim of the elements was a 34-year-old man from West Yorkshire who failed to control his car on an icy and snow-covered road. In Northamptonshire, one person also died in a traffic accident.

It is noted that the storm caused the closure of a number of highways.

About snowfall and flooding due to storm "Burt" Britons were warned on November 22. BBC TV channel, citing the Environment Agency, reported that heavy rains in the north of England may lead to localized flooding. It was specified that numerous "yellow" warnings due to rain and wind will be in effect over the weekend.

Later, on November 23, in Ireland, 34 thousand homes and 11 thousand people were left without electricity due to widespread flooding. In the Connemara and West Mayo areas, snowfall and ice caused significant damage. According to the ESB Networks service, a total of 60 thousand homes were affected by the storm "Bert".
