Russian team won the international tournament "Battle of the Robots"


The team from St. Petersburg Daddy Bots won the international competition "Battle of the Robots - 2024" in Mytishchi on November 23. Images of the final fight are at the disposal of Izvestia.
In it, the Russians beat last year's champions - the Chinese team Fierce Roc.
"This is something incredible. We were dreaming, but it was only in our dreams. We walked for a long time to this - and now we are the champions of the Battle of the Robots," the winners shared.
They also noted that this is the first time in the tournament series when the Russian team became the champion.
The St. Petersburg-based "Omnivores" also came third in the competition. The championship was held at the Mytishchi Arena with 6.8 thousand spectators in the stands. The broadcast of the final matches was watched by almost 2 million people.
The tournament also included the "Battle of the mini-robots", in which the Moscow team "Plan B" became the leader.
Earlier, on November 11, the IT championship True Tech Champ, which was held in the format of a robot race, ended. The tournament included two tracks - individual scoring in algorithmic and team scoring in robot programming. The total prize fund of the competition exceeded 10 million rubles. Fourteen people from all over the country became prize winners.
