The T-90M "Breakthrough" tank has managed to show itself as the best in the world. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev in an interview with Al Arabiya TV channel on November 23.

"We have just been shown the work of our best, probably, T-90M "Breakthrough" tank. Many experts, not to mention the military themselves, believe that this is the best tank of the present time - in comparison with Western models, among others," TASS quoted him as saying.

The deputy chairman also noted the work of the Uralvagonzavod enterprise, which he visited on the same day. Medvedev emphasized that the plant "is working to a large extent to achieve the goal of the special military operation."

Earlier, on November 6, Alexander Spiridonov, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Industry and Trade, spoke about the combat superiority of the T-90 tank over its foreign counterparts. According to him, the T-90 tank was created as a competitor to the American Abrams.

In August, Rostec CEO Sergei Chemezov said that Western Challenger and Leopard tanks had discredited themselves in the special operation zone. According to him, foreign customers see that the combat vehicles supplied to the AFU are losing to the T-90M Breakthrough tank.

In May, a batch of 23 T-90M "Breakthrough" tanks arrived to the motorized rifle unit of the All-Russian Army of the Central Military District. As the Russian Defense Ministry emphasized, the Breakthrough tanks can significantly strengthen the combat capabilities of motorized rifle units

In February, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Russian T-90M "Breakthrough" main battle tank the best vehicle of its class in the world. As the head of state noted, as soon as this vehicle enters a position, there is "nothing else for anyone to do".
