Medvedev declared Russia's independent production of most weapons

Russia is capable of independently producing most types of weapons. This was reported by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev in an interview with Al Arabiya TV channel on November 23.
"The absolute majority of military equipment, weapons are produced in our country," RIA Novosti quoted Medvedev as saying.
The deputy chairman added that Russia is now opposed by the entire NATO bloc. However, even in such conditions, most of the military equipment is produced by domestic enterprises.
He specified that at the same time Russia has allies that support it and cooperate with it on the military-technical line.
"You know, we have both allies and friendly states close to us," Medvedev said.
He noted that the Russian Federation is cooperating with Iran, China and the DPRK, among others.
Earlier, on November 5, military analyst and political analyst Vadym Mingalev said that the Russian army had become more professionally trained and was superior to the AFU in weaponry. The expert expressed the opinion that there were actually enough Ukrainians who could be taken to the front, but the Ukrainian army lacked specialists who could fight more professionally.
Meanwhile, on November 6, the secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergey Shoigu, said that Russia and Kazakhstan might approve a plan of cooperation in the military and technical sphere, which will last until 2027.
On October 22, it was reported that the American magazine The National Interest called the best in the world attack submarines of the Russian Navy (Navy) projects 945A "Kondor" and 885 "Yasen".
Before that, on October 19, the same publication published an article according to which Russian tanks T-14 "Armata" and T-90 "Breakthrough" are among the best combat vehicles in the world. The publication said that no list of the best modern tanks would be complete without the T-14 Armata.
During a visit to Uralvagonzavod in the Sverdlovsk region on February 15, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the T-90 "Breakthrough", without exaggeration, the best. According to the head of state, both Russian tankers and opponents recognize the tank's advantage.
