One child killed and two injured in a road accident in Dagestan

One child was killed and two others were injured in a car overturn in Dagestan. This was reported in the press service of the Interior Ministry in the region on November 23.

"As a result of the accident, the passenger of VAZ-21099, a six-year-old girl, from serious injuries died in hospital," - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.

It is specified that two more children of four months and three years old were seriously injured and are now in intensive care in serious condition.

The accident occurred because the driver, previously already deprived of his license, moving at high speed, failed to cope with the control and overturned the car. He refused to be tested for alcohol in his system.

The press service of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Dagestan reported that a criminal case has been opened on the fact of the accident.

"A criminal case has been opened against a local resident suspected of committing a crime under part 4 of article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of road traffic and operation of vehicles, causing the death of a person by negligence, committed by a person who is intoxicated and deprived of the right to drive a vehicle")," the press service said in its Telegram channel.

The investigation claims that the driver was in a state of alcohol intoxication. Experts are conducting a set of investigative actions, which are aimed at establishing the circumstances of the accident.

Earlier the same day in Dagestan ten people were injured as a result of overturning of the passenger "Gazelle" on the road near the village of Chirkei. A procedural check has been organized on this fact, and investigators are working at the site of the accident.
