The Russian military has recorded 23 violations of Syrian airspace by the aircraft of the international anti-terrorist coalition led by the United States. This was reported at a briefing on November 23 by the deputy head of the Center for the Reconciliation of Enemy Parties (CRAP) in the SAR, Captain First Rank Oleg Ignasyuk.

"In the area of Et-Tanf, 16 violations of the rules of use of the airspace of the Syrian Arab Republic (SAR) by the coalition aviation were recorded during the day: two pairs of F-15 fighters (four times)," Ignasyuk specified.

The remaining seven cases are related to violations of the deconfliction protocols of December 9, 2019 due to uncoordinated flights of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with the Russian side.

Ignasyuk also noted that in the Idlib de-escalation zone there were six shelling of positions of the Syrian government forces by the terrorist groups "Jebhat al-Nusra" and "Islamic Party of Turkestan" (recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia). Five of them were recorded in Idlib province, another one in Latakia. Two Syrian servicemen were wounded in Idlib province.

In addition, the deputy head of the DCAF in Syria added that the Syrian troops foiled an attempt by a sabotage and reconnaissance (DRG) group of militants to infiltrate the positions of the military in the Jubas district of Idlib province.

Earlier, on November 22, the CPVS reported that Russian servicemen recorded 11 violations of Syrian airspace by the international anti-terrorist coalition led by the United States during the day. Also, one serviceman was killed as a result of one of three shelling of Syrian government forces' positions by the terrorist groups Jebhat al-Nusra (banned in Russia) and the Islamic Party of Turkestan (banned in Russia).

Prior to that, on November 21, the PSCs held two humanitarian actions in the settlements of Misherfa in Raqqa province and Ayashiya in Aleppo province, during which 600 food packages with a total weight of 5.9 tons were distributed. In addition, 17 violations by the US-led coalition were recorded.
