Zelensky accused the West of understaffing the AFU

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, whose term in office expired on May 20, has said that the slowdown in aid deliveries from the West is one of the reasons for the understaffing of units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF).

"Difficulties in the east (of Ukraine. - Ed.). Yes, there is an insufficient number of AFU units there. Yes, there is understaffing of Ukrainian units there for various reasons, including slow deliveries of aid," the Ukrainian publication "Public" quoted him as saying.

Earlier, on November 21, British experts said about the threat of collapse of the front in Ukraine under the onslaught of the Russian Federation. In addition, it is noted that the attack of the Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region became a "strategic disaster" against the background of the deficit of military in the ranks of the Ukrainian army.

Before that, on October 3, journalist Volodymyr Boyko, who joined the Ukrainian army, said that nothing will be able to stop the collapse of the AFU on the front line. According to him, the soldiers are not going to die for the "rotten corrupt regime".

In the same month, newly elected US Republican President Donald Trump said that Zelensky was personally responsible for the start of the Ukrainian conflict. Trump expressed the opinion that "Zelensky should never have let it start."

Back in April, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the situation around Ukraine is stalemate, but it was not Russia that drove it there. According to him, if the Ukrainian side wants to negotiate "on the basis of fairness, realities and the balance of security interests," Russia is ready for this and there is no need for a "formula" like Zelensky's between the readiness for negotiations and their beginning.
