Ice is expected in Moscow in the evening on November 23. This was reported on Saturday in the press service of the capital's urban economy complex.

"After 21:00, the air temperature is expected to pass through zero degrees in the direction of negative values, snow in places at night, which may contribute to the formation of ice," - said in a message in the Telegram-channel.

Motorists were urged to observe the speed limit and distance.

Moscow was hit by heavy snowfall on November 23. Images of bad weather were shared by "Izvestia".

November 22, chief expert of the Moscow Meteobureau Tatyana Pozdnyakova said that the cyclone, under the influence of which Moscow was hit, came from the Balkans, it is called "Caetano". Such cyclones enter the territory of Russia both in summer and winter, and it is with them that most of the precipitation in the region is associated.

Prior to that, on November 21, the scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand told in a conversation with "Izvestia" that from November 25 in Moscow will begin a long cool period and the temperature will be three degrees below normal. According to the forecaster, the first half of next week will be -4 to -9 degrees at night and -3 to -4 degrees during the day.
