A man stole a TV set and two puppies in Kaliningrad region


In Kaliningrad region, a man stole a TV set and two puppies from an apartment. This was reported by the official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry Irina Volk on November 23.
"An unusual apartment theft was uncovered by my colleagues from the OMVD of Russia in Svetlovsky district of Kaliningrad region. The prey of the home thief was a TV set and two puppies. The inconsolable mistress appealed to the police," she wrote in her Telegram channel.
According to Volk, law enforcement authorities conducted an inspection of the scene, during which they found out that the apartment was broken into by picking up the keys. They seized the trace of shoes, which left the thief, questioned the neighbors and established the identity of the criminal. He turned out to be a previously convicted local resident.
A criminal case under part 3 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Theft") was initiated. The defendant elected a measure of restraint in the form of a signature on non-departure and proper behavior.
"The owner of the puppies was very happy with their return and from the bottom of her heart thanked the police for their professionalism and concern. By the way, the stolen TV set the suspect managed to sell. However, the police found it and also returned it to the victim," - concluded Volk.
Earlier, November 15, it was reported that law enforcers found in the Crimea two underage residents of Moscow, who stole a cat from a pet store in the capital, and then ran away from home on the peninsula. The girls said that the animal ran away from them. Later the animal was found under cars in one of the capital's parking lots.
