Peskov said that real wages of Russians are on the rise


Real wages in Russia are increasing, including in new regions. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on November 23.
"As for the increase in salaries, in general, over the past year or two, salaries in real terms are growing significantly. This is an increase of over 15%," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Peskov drew attention to the fact that not only nominal wages are increasing, but also real wages. There are also allowances for regions where military operations are going on, he added.
According to the Kremlin spokesman, the growth of salaries is a continuous process. In addition, Peskov recalled the current system of allowances for certain categories, including employees and employees of security forces.
Earlier, on November 18, it became known that 70% of companies in Russia in 2024 increased salaries. According to experts, most often - in 45% of cases - their increase was due to an increase in salary or salary and bonus at once (41%), 13% of employers limited themselves to an increase in bonuses. In 51% of cases, income growth amounted to 5-10%, in 37% - 10-20%, and in 9% - 21% or more. At the same time, 58% of employers plan to increase salaries in 2025
On October 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the minimum wage for 2025 in the amount of 22,440 rubles. In late September, it was submitted to the State Duma by the Russian government. In October, it was adopted in all three readings, as well as approved in the Federation Council.
