Defense Ministry shows footage of Russian military liberating Novodmitrovka in the DNR

On Saturday, November 23, the Russian Defense Ministry published a video of the Russian Armed Forces' (AF) combat operations during the liberation of the Novodmitrovka settlement in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

It is specified that the Russian army destroyed the enemy by applying bypass maneuvers.

"To mop up and further consolidate on the former positions of the AFU, the assault groups entered from different sides. Correction of the movement of the groups was carried out by operators of reconnaissance drones," the agency said in a statement.

As a result of the actions of the Russian army, the village of Novodmitrivka was liberated from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). In this regard, the Russian military installed the flag of the Russian Federation.

TheDNR became aware ofthe liberation of Novodmitrivka on November 22. In addition, the Russian army defeated the personnel of the AFU, as well as military equipment. Also 68 counterattacks of the Ukrainian army were repelled.

Earlier in the week, the Russian army liberated the settlements of Leninskoye , Makarovka, Novoalekseevka, Novoselidovka and Ilyinka in the DNR.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
