Chief expert of the Moscow meteobureau Tatyana Pozdnyakova reported in her Telegram-channel that in the second half of the night of November 23 the city was in the precipitation zone of the southern cyclone and within three or four hours in the capital formed a snow cover, by 9:00 its height reached a height of 3-4 cm. During the day, according to meteorologist, precipitation will continue, in some places snow will be interspersed with rain.

Prior to that, on November 21, the scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand told in a conversation with "Izvestia" that from November 25 in Moscow will begin a long cool period and the temperature will be three degrees below normal. According to the forecaster, the first half of next week will be -4 to -9 degrees at night and -3 to -4 degrees during the day.
