Su-25 crews destroyed armored vehicles and AFU fighters in the Kursk Region


Attack aviation crews in Su-25 aircraft have carried out missile air strikes against armored vehicles and personnel of Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) units in the border areas of the Kursk Region. Images of the combat operation were published on Saturday, November 23, by the Russian Defense Ministry.
It is specified that the launches were carried out in pairs from low altitudes.
"After the use of air defeat devices, the crews performed a maneuver, releasing heat traps, and returned to the departure airfield," the ministry said in a statement.
As a result of combat work of Su-25 crews, the objects were eliminated. After accomplishing the assigned tasks, the specialists of the engineering and technical staff performed routine maintenance work on the aircraft and prepared the aircraft for a second combat flight.
Earlier, on November 22, a unit of the "North" group of forces destroyed an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) Marder manufactured by the FRG of the AFU in the border area of the Kursk region. The strike was carried out by an FPV drone.
The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
