A motorist hit a nine-year-old girl at a crosswalk in Primorye, she received a fracture of the tibia. About it on November 23 reported in the police of the region.

"The accident was registered on November 20 at the 46th km of the highway Artem - Nakhodka - port Vostochny. The 47-year-old driver of the car Nissan, moving from the side of Nakhodka in the direction of Vladivostok, made a collision with a nine-year-old schoolgirl, who was crossing the roadway at an unregulated crosswalk," - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.

In the UMVD in Primorsky Krai indicated that the girl received a fracture of the tibia as a result of the accident. She was taken to a hospital in Vladivostok. A criminal case under part 1 of article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic rules by a person driving a car, resulting in negligent infliction of serious harm to human health") has been opened over the accident.

Earlier the same day in a traffic accident in the Sverdlovsk region, two underage cyclists were killed, they died on the spot before the arrival of an ambulance. On the fact of the accident a criminal case was opened on the violation of traffic rules, causing the death of two or more persons by negligence. The 49-year-old driver of the car was detained and placed in a temporary detention center.
