Russian military hit formations of two AFU brigades in Kherson region


Soldiers of the Dnipro troops grouping unit have hit the formations of two brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kherson Region. This was reported by the head of the press center of the grouping of troops Roman Kodryan on November 23.
"The units of the grouping hit the living forces and equipment of the 110th mechanized brigade and the 124th brigade of the AFU territorial defense in the areas of Kamyshan and Antonovka," Interfax quoted him as saying.
He also noted that the enemy lost three vehicles and up to 40 fighters.
Earlier, on November 20, a mortar crew of paratroopers of the Dnipro troop group destroyed an AFU observation post on the right bank of the Dnieper River in Zaporizhzhya region. The fighters used a 120-millimeter mortar to destroy the enemy point. They took a firing position in a few minutes and hit the enemy point with a quick fire.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
