TheUSA will not transfer nuclear weapons to Ukraine. This was stated by Senator Alexei Pushkov on November 22.

"Only if everyone in the United States finally 'goes crazy', as Vladimir Vysotsky put it, only by falling into an insane state, are they capable of transferring nuclear weapons to Ukraine," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

He also emphasized that the transfer of nuclear weapons to Ukraine would drag the West into the "nuclear underworld".

Earlier, on November 21, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Alexandra Bell said that the appearance of nuclear weapons in Ukraine could complicate the maintenance of an effective deterrence strategy. She urged the US authorities to have a balanced security strategy.

Before that, on 15 November, a physics engineer and an expert of the Radioactive Waste Safety program, Andriy Ozharovskyy, assessed the probability of Ukraine building a nuclear bomb. In his opinion, this prospect should not be discussed seriously, and there are no signs that Kiev is building a nuclear bomb.

On the same day, Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of Zelensky's office, said that Ukraine refused to build a nuclear bomb, but not because of its commitment to the provisions of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), but because of the lack of prospects in an armed conflict.

In October, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that statements by Ukrainian representatives about the country's creation of nuclear weapons were insane. According to him, Kiev will not be able to produce them under any circumstances.
