A psychologist talked about ways to cope with anxiety

Rest, during which a person still suffers from mental load, does not give him time to relax. Psychologist Ekaterina Tur told about it on November 23.
"The specificity of our external information environment works in such a way that we are constantly in the wheel of this routine and worry less and less about how we really feel, at what level our happiness is today," she said in an interview with Radio Sputnik.
The psychologist pointed out that such anxious thinking is often fueled by content addiction, expressed in the need to try to release one's stress through watching horror movies. She emphasized that panic attacks, insomnia, and headaches are signs of severe, unbearable body anxiety.
Coping with this feeling, as Tur pointed out, can only be done by the person himself. It is the development of autoregulation and mindfulness skills that can help one become calmer.
"When you feel that you need additional help, contact a psychologist or psychotherapist, because in general, work in psychosomatics and psychology is built on three whales: first we go to the doctor, the second - work with a psychologist or psychotherapist, and the third is just psychohygiene, that is, the development of autoregulation skills: I manage myself, I manage my stress, I manage the quality of my life," - said the psychologist.
Earlier, on November 22, psychologist Catherine Artemenko told about ways to fight anxiety during sales. The feeling of endless fuss is fueled by advertising campaigns, which persuade to urgently buy gifts at a discount, while there is still time, said the specialist. According to the psychotherapist, if anxiety has already arisen, it is important to study yourself and differentiate your states to understand more deeply what is behind the anxiety.
