The IDF said Hezbollah launched 80 projectiles at Israel

The Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah fired about 80 shells at Israel. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on November 23.
"On Friday, November 22, about 80 shells fired by the Hezbollah terrorist organization hit Israel from Lebanon," the IDF said in a Telegram feed.
The IDF stressed that "the Israel Defense Forces will continue to defend the State of Israel and its people."
Earlier, November 21, it became known that Israel struck Hezbollah command centers in Beirut. It is noted that among the targets hit were command centers and additional infrastructure of the Shiite movement.
On November 20, the IDF Press Service reported that the Israeli Air Force eliminated two Hezbollah field commanders in the coastal areas of Lebanon by air strikes.
The escalation of hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah came after the events of September 17 and 18, when thousands of people, including employees of the movement, were injured when pagers and other communication devices exploded in Lebanon. The country blamed Tel Aviv for what happened. Since then, Israel has continued to eliminate the leadership of the Shiite movement and strike Lebanese territory.
The situation in the Middle East escalated on the morning of October 7, 2023, when the Palestinian radical movement Hamas subjected the territory of Israel to a massive rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. On the same day, Israel began retaliatory strikes.
