Ukraine reported explosions in AFU-controlled areas of Zaporizhzhya region

Explosions have occurred in the Kiev-controlled part of Zaporizhzhya Region. This was reported by the Ukrainian daily Strana.ua on 22 November.

The head of the Kiev-controlled regional administration, Ivan Fedorov, also confirmed the information about explosions in the region.

According to the online map of the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation, an air alert was declared in the Ukrainian-controlled areas of Zaporizhzhya Region.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the information about the explosions.

Earlier in the day, explosions were reported in Starokonstantinov, Khmelnitsky region in Ukraine. At the same time, an air alert was announced in Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Kiev, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Sumy and Poltava regions.

On the same day, the Ukrainian news agency TSN reported that explosions went off in the Kiev and Dnipropetrovsk regions in Ukraine.

Russian forces began striking military facilities and related energy and communications facilities in Ukraine in October 2022. As explained by Russian President Vladimir Putin, this was a response to the terrorist actions of the Kiev regime.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
