The Ministry of Labor reported on the introduction of electronic certificates with a QR code for pensioners

For Russian pensioners from July 1, 2025 will be introduced electronic certificates with a QR code confirming the privileged status. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation on November 22.

"From July 1, 2025 pensioners will be able to receive electronic certificates with a QR code to confirm the privileged status. The corresponding draft order has been placed for public discussion," - "RIA Novosti" quotes the statement of the ministry .

The Ministry of Labor has specified that the electronic certificate will include not only mandatory details, as in the paper version, but also a QR code, which can be presented in the application "Gosuservices" and confirm the status in any organization.

Earlier, on November 20, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs Svetlana Bessarab stated that pensions for working and non-working citizens of the country will be increased in Russia from January 1, 2025. The government will be able to increase this figure until February 1, 2025.
