Peskov reported titanic work to restore new regions

In order to restore new regions, titanic work is being done to repair and reconstruct tens of thousands of different objects. This was announced by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov on November 22.

"This is a program to restore the regions. It is supervised in the government by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, titanic work is being done," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Peskov also specified that at the moment the highways are being reconstructed and residential houses are being repaired. He added that the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are shelling and destroying their own infrastructure while retreating.

Earlier, on November 20, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin said that the settlements recently liberated by the Armed Forces (AFU) of the Russian Federation will be restored quickly, there are funds for this purpose.

At the end of September, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that theRussian authorities would not postpone the solution of social and economic issues in the new regions of the Russian Federation. He expressed confidence that all issues in the development of these regions would be resolved, as well as security issues.

The federal constitutional law on the admission of the liberated regions to the Russian Federation was signed on October 5, 2022. Before that, referendums on joining Russia were held between September 23 and 27. According to the law, residents of the republics of Donbas, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions are recognized as Russian citizens from the day they become part of the Russian Federation.
