- The Russian Defense Ministry reported on the feats of the Russian military in the NWO zone

The Russian Defense Ministry on November 23 reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) who risked their lives to successfully carry out combat missions during a special military operation (SMO).
The ministry noted the actions of Junior Sergeant Alexander Danilov, a medic of the assault company, who provided pre-hospital care to the wounded on the front line and organized their evacuation.
During an offensive in one of the important tactical directions, Russian attack aircraft gained a foothold on the outskirts of a populated area, dislodging the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from well-fortified positions. The enemy, in turn, attempted a counterattack accompanied by artillery fire and FPV drone raids.
After studying the intelligence data, Danilov developed the safest possible routes to remove the wounded from the battlefield. Despite the danger, the junior sergeant evacuated more than 10 servicemen in a Ural ambulance.
The Defense Ministry also drew attention to the merits of the mechanic-driver of a self-propelled artillery battery, Guards lieutenant Anton Ryabkov, who carried out a combat mission to destroy fortified strongholds and long-term fire installations of the AFU.
During the battle, the enemy detected the firing position of the Russian artillerymen with the help of a drone. Having spotted the drone, Ryabkov opened small arms fire on it and destroyed it, and then began to move the installation to an alternate position. While moving the gun came under enemy artillery fire and FPV drone attack. Despite this, the guardsman still managed to bring the gun to safety without damage. As a result, the artillery unit repelled the enemy attack and secured a new line of defense.
Earlier, on November 22, the Defense Ministry reported that junior sergeant Vladimir Abramov with two accurate shots restrained a column of enemy armored vehicles that had moved to reinforce their units. As a result, the Ukrainian fighters fled, leaving the armored vehicles and wounded.
On the same day, the 122-millimeter Gvozdika self-propelled howitzers of the Vostok group of forces destroyed a manpower, a field store with ammunition and an AFU stronghold in the south Donetsk direction of the special operation. The fire was carried out with fragmentation-fugitive ammunition. After the combat work was completed, the self-propelled howitzer crew promptly changed its firing position.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
