The Bank of Russia posted a video with a cat speaking popular phrases of phone scammers on November 22.

"Boo! Scared? Don't be afraid, I'm a friend, I won't hurt you, come here, come to me, sit next to me, look me in the eyes, tell me the code from the SMS. Let's transfer the money to a special safe account. You don't want to? Why? Is something wrong?" - pronounces the cat in a video published in the Telegram channel of the bank.

It is explained that the video simulates the situation of answering a call from an unknown number. The bank advised not to talk to fraudsters on the phone, and just drop the call.

Earlier the same day, a pensioner from Moscow transferred the proceeds for the apartment of 25.6 million rubles in cryptocurrency and an electronic purse, the code of which she dictated to a false employee of law enforcement agencies. The establishment of persons involved in the commission of the crime is under control of the Preobrazhensky Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office of Moscow.
