Air defense forces destroyed an AFU drone over the Belgorod region

Air defense forces have destroyed a Ukrainian drone over the territory of Belgorod Region. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 22.

"On-duty air defense forces destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle over the territory of Belgorod region," - stated in a message in the Telegram-channel of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation.

It is specified that the attack was made at about 21:20 Moscow time with the use of UAV of airplane type.

Earlier in the day, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that a residential house burned down after an attack by an AFU UAV on the region. He added that another drone attacked another private house. As a result, windows were broken out in the building and the facade was slashed.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the backdrop of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
