A temporary ban on the sale of pyrotechnics has been introduced in Kaluga region. This was announced by the Governor of the region Vladislav Shapsha on November 22.

It is specified that these measures are introduced for the safety of citizens. They will come into effect from December 1 this year and will last until January 15, 2025.

"I am sure the residents of the region will take this decision with understanding. Yes, and it's not the time for unrestrained fun now," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Earlier, in November 2023, the Kursk region banned the use of pyrotechnics from November 15. The decision was related to ensuring the safety and tranquility of citizens.
