Two people died near Astrakhan when a car drove off into a ditch


In Privolzhsky district of the Astrakhan region, two people were killed and three injured as a result of a car driving off into a ditch. This was reported on November 22 in the press service of the UMVD in the region.
"On November 22 on the road in Privolzhsky district the driver of the car VAZ-2110, a man born in 1958, failed to cope with the control and made the exit into the ditch. As a result of the accident, the driver and a female passenger died at the scene before the arrival of the ambulance crew," TASS reports the press service.
As noted, women born in 1969, 1964 and 2007 were taken to intensive care.
According to the information of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Astrakhan region, posted in the Telegram-channel of the department, four employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and one unit of equipment were involved for evacuation of passengers from the car.
At the moment the circumstances of the incident are being established. A procedural check is being conducted.
Earlier, on November 22, in the Ekhirit-Bulagatsky district of the Irkutsk region there was an accident involving a minibus, which killed three people. The driver and another passenger of the minibus were taken to hospital.
