In anticipation of Black Friday, which will be held on November 29, the joint company Wildberries&Russ and Roskachestvo have prepared a guide to safe online shopping. "Izvestia" got acquainted with the experts' advice on November 23.

Thus, it is noted that when buying goods on the Web, it is necessary to check for the correctness of links before clicking on them.

"Phishing links often look almost like real ones, but contain errors or extra symbols in known words (for example, wilbberries.ru instead of wildberries.ru)," the guide says.

According to experts, other "red flags" for the buyer should be the low quality of logos and design of online stores, grammatical errors, as well as too low prices.

"If the price for the product or service you need on the site is many times lower than you expected - this is a reason not to trust such information," experts emphasized.

For those who plan to make a purchase on Black Friday, experts have prepared a check-list, in the performance of which the chances of falling for the tricks of fraudsters will be close to zero. First, they advised to pay for purchases only from personal devices. Third-party programs are capable of saving card data and other information without the user's knowledge, the experts explained.

"Get a separate bank card for online purchases. Keep exactly as much money on it as you need to pay for goods and services," they recommended.

In addition, experts advised to connect notifications of transactions on the card. So the buyer will be able to immediately see unexpected write-offs.

"Do not give anyone codes from applications and SMS. They are requested only by fraudsters. Choose well-known online stores with a positive reputation. This way you will save yourself from fraudsters and risks of getting low-quality goods," experts added.

If the buyer became a victim of fraudsters and his bank card data was stolen, it is necessary to block it immediately.

"This will help to save the remaining funds - it is easier and faster to issue a new card than to immediately try to return the stolen goods. Once the remaining money is safe, the police should be contacted," the guide to safe online shopping stated.

Earlier, on November 8, in the Post Bank said that during the sales are activated fraudsters. As specified in the credit organization, the attackers, offering the most profitable offers, transfer users of the network to third-party sites. As a result, buyers can be left not only without money and goods, but also with loans.
