About 220 thousand flowers will be planted in the flowerbeds of Stavropol until mid-December. They will overwinter and in April 2025 will please residents and guests of the regional capital, the press service of the mayor's office reported on Friday, November 22.

City flowerbeds will be decorated with hyacinths, forget-me-nots, tulips and daisies. It is planned to plant 120 thousand bulbs and 100 thousand biennials.

"Every year our landscapers try to surprise the citizens, inventing new configurations of flower patterns, changing colors and varieties of spring crops", - said the head of the city Ivan Ulyanchenko.

According to StavropolMedia IA, flowers will be planted in all the main flower beds of the city, as well as at the main transport interchanges.

Earlier it was reported that Stavropol authorities decided not to hold large-scale festivities and not to launch fireworks on New Year holidays. There are also no plans to buy new decorations.
