Sevastopol authorities told about the progress of repair of the embankment in Andreevka

Sevastopol continues the overhaul of the embankment in Andreevka, which started after the end of the beach season. The work is done by 65% and should be completed in December, reported in social networks of the head of the city Mikhail Razvozhayev.

"We expect that the renewed embankment will be popular not only in summer and will become a comfortable place for walks at any time of the year," the governor said.

The contractor has already dismantled all the old structures and damaged pavement, writes SevastopolMedia. The builders paid special attention to strengthening of the embankment against ground slopes and organization of ground water drainage.

Workers reinforced retaining walls, replaced concrete fencing elements, installed a drainage system of trays, poured the foundation for children's and sports zones. They equipped convenient stairs and descents from the embankment to the beach, brought communications to connect shower cabins.

Now the installation of stainless steel fences, paving tiles and curbs, sanding and wall cladding is underway. At the next stage, the workers will proceed to the installation of rubber coating on the sports and children's playgrounds, installation of a children's playground, benches, changing rooms, urns, lighting and a lifeguard station.
