The most popular car colors among Russians have become known

Cars with black, white and gray body shades are the most popular on the Russian aftermarket. They account for 75% of all sales in 2024, analysts of the Likvi.com project told Izvestia on November 22.

Blue, silver, red, green and brown cars account for the remaining share of the aftermarket. Such colors as yellow or orange are rare.

According to analysts, the average price of a used car in Russia in 2024 is 2.2 million rubles, which is almost twice as much as in 2022 (1.2 million rubles). Mileage and age remain the main criteria for buyers. Cars with mileage from 71 thousand to 127 thousand kilometers and an average age of 10 years are sold more often.

Experts noted that ads with a large number of high-quality photos get more views, which increases the likelihood of sale. Also more responses get more announcements with a detailed description of repair and maintenance.

Earlier in the day it was reported that in 2024, more than 100 models entered the Russian automobile market, taking into account those that will appear before the end of December. For example, Haval and Geely have released five new models each, Chery has three new models, and Dongfeng has brought three new models to Russia under the brand DFSK. Tank, Shangan, GAC, Omoda, BAIC, JAC, Jaecoo, Foton, Hongqi, Haima, Exeed, Belgee and other brands also premiered.
