A new school for 1.1 thousand places will be built in Podolsk, Moscow region

In Podolsk (Moscow region) a new large school for 1.1 thousand places will be built. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Construction Complex.

A three-storey building of 13.7 thousand square meters will be erected on the plot of land on Sadovaya Street, which will house workshops, cooking, cutting and sewing rooms, assembly and dining halls, two gyms in addition to classrooms. It will also have an IT-space and a library and information center.

According to the Internet edition "Podmoskovye Segodnya", the adjacent territory will have places for school events, a soccer field, a ball field, a running track and other sports facilities.

The construction is planned to be completed in 2026. The project is implemented under the state program of the Moscow region.

Earlier it was reported that in the village Sukharevo in Mytishchi (Moscow region) by the end of 2024 they plan to complete the construction of a new school for 1.1 thousand seats. According to November 14, the construction readiness of the school was 69%.
