Pensioner from St. Petersburg gave almost 20 million rubles to fraudsters


Fraudsters stole almost 20 million rubles from a pensioner from St. Petersburg. This was reported by a source of Izvestiya on November 22.
The criminals contacted the woman several times under the guise of employees of the polyclinic, Roskomnadzor and Rosfinmonitoring. Referring to the financial security of the 68-year-old St. Petersburg woman, they forced her to hand over her savings to them.
Within a month the pensioner gave six strangers almost 20 million rubles in different currencies. A criminal case has been initiated.
Earlier in the day it was reported that the pensioner from Moscow transferred the proceeds of Br25.6 million for the apartment in cryptocurrency and electronic purse, the code of which she dictated to a false employee of law enforcement agencies. Establishment of the persons involved in the crime is under control of the Preobrazhensky Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office of Moscow.
