A Muscovite woman transferred 25.6 million rubles for her apartment to fraudsters


A pensioner from Moscow for a month of communication with fraudsters sold an apartment and lost more than 25.6 million rubles, which included the money from the sale of housing and all savings. This was reported on November 22 in the Telegram-channel of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office.
Swindlers for a month called a 75-year-old woman under the guise of law enforcement officers. They lured away from the pensioner all the savings, which she transferred in installments to the courier, calling "passwords". After the attackers found out that the woman has a second apartment, and convinced her that the housing can be arrested and it is necessary to sell it urgently.
On the instructions of the fraudsters Muscovite did not tell anyone about "saving property" and made a deal to sell the apartment on Kovrov pereulok. The proceeds she transferred to cryptocurrency and an electronic wallet, the code from which she dictated to the false employee of law enforcement agencies.
"Only after talking to her relatives did the woman realize that she had become a victim of fraudsters. The total damage exceeded 25.6 million rubles. Earlier, on November 18, it was reported that fraudsters swindled from the capital pensioner more than 24 million rubles. On the instructions of the attackers for several days Muscovite withdrew funds in different banks and transferred to unknown persons, calling the code word. An investigation is underway.
